Orthopedics in the simplest terms is the branch of medicine concerned with the health of the musculoskeletal system. That is the system which encompasses the body and helps in keeping structure and movement. These are the bones, joints, nerves, etc. Orthopedics is an important branch of medicine especially for the fitness and sports enthusiasts as they are the ones who experience the most stress in their musculoskeletal system.
